The Mexicans are coming

No cruise ships today but this rather Blofeld-looking super yacht cruised in, flying a Mexican flag. I suppose someone has to keep the celebrities next door in Monaco in supplies for the royal party.

And lo and behold they decided to come ashore for dinner on the promenade - that's them waiting for a table at the restaurant next door as another brand new Porsche whizzes past.  Just another evening on the French Riviera.

The promenade is ever-changing and provides non-stop live entertainment as the sun goes down.  One can sit all night and be kept fully entertained by the ever changing passers by, restaurant patrons, prestigious cars, valet parking boys, live musicians and the local 'administratif polis' who seem to have the cruisiest job in the world.

I'd sit there just for the cars - apart from the Mexicans, last night's highlight was a vintage silver convertible Rolls Royce Corniche. And he was clearly a local - he and the local polis stopped in the middle of the promenade for a chat holding up the traffic either way without a care in the world - so tres French...
